We went to Poor House Farm for my trek* today...Tyler went with me. It was 20 degrees and very windy, but we were dressed for the weather and it wasn't a big deal. We walked for 45 minutes.On our walk we saw two really weird things...a dead blue heron in the snow(sad!)....and the place where a deer was shot...the trail of blood where it ran away...and then the pool of blood in the snow where it died. Very sobering and a bit scary too! Scary because it was killed on the Poor House Farm property where people walk all the time!
* As you can see, I used my trekking poles!
