Day #198

Debbie and I went to the Yankauer Nature Preserve to take our walk tonight...it was very, very humid and I was soaking wet by the time we finished. We walked for 55 minutes and we got in a good workout, which is a good thing after the non-walking week that I've had! It feels good to be walking again!

Days #192- #197

I just got back from a week long conference--The West Virginia Teacher's Leadership Institute in Morgantown, West Virgina. The good news was that we stayed at the Waterfront Place Hotel which is only a few steps away from a beautiful walking trial that runs alongside the Monongahela River....and the bad news? I only walked three times! The conference was fantastic but it was extremely intense. We worked long hours and we had homework every single night. Long story short...I was worn out every night!

I walked for three of those days for 30 minutes each.... so that means that three days I didn't walk! :o( Oh, well...I can't beat myself up over it! I just need to get back into the walking habit...no problem! :o)

Day #191

It cooled off quite a bit today, but I still wasn't in the mood to walk in the heat, so I headed over to the mall to take my walk earlier tonight--I walked for 35 minutes. I'm leaving for a conference tomorrow, and I'm not sure if I will have computer access while I'm there....I'll keep track of my walks, and post them when I get home!

Day #188, #189, & 190!!!

A Triple!!!???

Wednesday, Day #188: It was sooooo hot today! I'm having a harder time getting my walks in the heat than I did when there was four feet of snow on the ground! I headed over to the mall and walked for 30 minutes.

Thursday, Day #189: Another hot one...I waited as long as possible to give it a chance to cool down a bit, and I walk around the neighborhood for 40 minutes.

Friday, Day #190: Pierre and I drove to Washington, D.C. today to meet my Aunt Marj for lunch. We got there early, so we had a chance to walk around the city....we walked for 40 minutes then, and about 15 minutes later in the day. After lunch we headed over to Gravely Point to watch the planes landing at the Reagan International Airport---fun!

No walk day.... :o( Today Debbie and I went up to Harrisburg to talk to a lawyer about our business and we also went out to dinner with my sister. It was a busy, busy day and I didn't get my walk in.

Day #184

I slept in this morning and was lazy for the entire day! It was wonderful! I walked for 33 minutes around the neighborhood tonight. After I got back I watched Mama Mia for the 4th or 5th time...when you need to feel good, this is the movie! Love it!

Tomorrow, July 4th, is my wedding anniversary! Wow--three years! Time goes by too quickly!
